Fanatec compatible sim gadgets on the way

Fanatec compatible sim gadgets on the way

I just received some exclusive photos of a prototype device produced by SimRacingHardware that will go on sale soon. It is an attachment for mounting Leo Bodnar's SLI-Pro Shift Lights Controller to any Fanatec wheel and looks like a great solution for anyone serious about PC sim racing. Leo Bodnar's products are great, but as you probably know he only sells naked PCBs that you then have to connect and somehow mount either to your cockpit or racing wheel. SRH Fanatec SLI-Pro solves all the problems if you want it to just work out of the box and will sell for £69.95 + shipping.

The kit will come complete with all mounts, fittings and completely assembled, including the 2 modified rotary encoders, supplied and installed, you just need to add your SLI-Pro or SLI-M board. I was told they only use the highest quality in their products and that each unit is carefully hand assembled to the highest standards. This particular unit uses interesting mounting system with high tech "gel" type double sided tape on the bottom and a screw at the top that gets screwed into existing hole in wheel's center stripe. The mount is "VERY secure".

SimRacingHardware will make many other sim racing products. A few very cool ones can already be seen on their website, but they intend to make more Fanatec compatible products, so it should be interesting to see what else they come up with.

What impressed me most when talking to Brian Clancy from SimRacingHardware was how much he emphesised that their number one priority is good customer service. They will offer full fitting guides and full customer support including live chat through their website for various questions. Besides that they will also offer a full custom design and build service, a D.I.Y. parts shop selling components, spare parts, accessories and an upgrade service for previous customers who want to upgrade items bought from them for newer of more high end products.

Their online store is not open yet, but I think it is scheduled to open on May 30th. Good luck guys, it is nice to see someone making Fanatec compatible attachments!

Will this work on GT5 PS3

Will this work on GT5 PS3 with GT3RSv2?

Nope

No, unfortunately this is only compatible with PC. Both SLI-M and SLI-PRO require a special application that controls them, so they can not be used on consoles.

Hurray

Yeah , was about time fanatec wheels got some love :) , looking forward to the site opening to check prices and full array of products and services .

Best of luck guys !
