Review of SR Hardware Fanatec SLI-M/SLI-PRO mounting system

I got to review this cool attachment which I already wrote about a while back when it was announced and I was quite impressed by it. It is well made, looks professional, mounts very securely and I was surprised by how much of an advantage an SLI-M can give you with those bright blinking LEDs. Its only disadvantage in my opinion is the acrylic mounting plate behind the top of the wheel rim, that prevents you from wraping your fingers around the rim in the top opistion, but fortunately it turned out to not be a problem for road racing. It would probably be an annoyance for people who drift or play rally with lots of wheel rotation and that is why SR Hardware is already working on an SLI-M/SLI-PRO button box for people who don't want any extra bulk on the wheel. I put some extra effort into routing the USB cable to SLI-M it and it is a great addition to my wheel. I hope you will enjoy my video.

PS3

Does anyone know if this works with GT5 on PS3? If so, will both SLI-M and SLI-PRO work on PS3?

No

No, both sli-m and sli-pro work only with pc in combination with a special application that controlls it.

SLI-M/SLI-PRO mounting system

Thanks in advance for your video but is not clear if the diplay is available in a complete kit or we need to follow exactly step by step.

Do you know the price of the complete kit if available?
Thanks in advance and best regards.

You have to buy SLI-M separately

Well they only sell the mounting system and SLI-M/SLI-PRO has to be bought separately directly from Leo Bodnar. Mounting the SLI unit to the mounting system is quick and simple, so it does not really matter if it comes pre-assembled or not.

Info

Ok thanks for the info but how much I have to spend to to It?

Sonac, watching your video

Sonac, watching your video makes me think about if my wheel is broken. Is there any way (program, ...) to check the "health" of its FF?

Thank you.

I think no

No, I've never heard of such program. What games do you play with it? Force feedback quality really, reeaally depends on the game. That's iRacing in the video.

I do not notice such a shaking like that. Also when I play for 1 hour the wheel pulls off hard to the right and I have to dissconect it... What do you suggest me? It's my first wheel so I can not compare with others...

Pull to the right issue is

Pull to the right issue is something you should probably contact support about.
I think you should try iRacing if you have a chance to. Their tracks are laser scanned and that's why there is shaking - because of all the bumps on the road.
